I understand what you’re saying, but they weren’t playing shots (until their wicket) that were risky – they scored runs whilst playing respectable shot in their short stay at the crease
Australian player ratings: ODI Game 1
Understandable point you make. Me personally, I would drop Short first as he too offered nothing with the bat against Pakistan. Whilst Lynn doesn’t bowl anymore, I do think his innings on Sunday had positive attributes; such as a temperament we don’t normally see. Pretty line ball between him and Short overall though
Australian player ratings: ODI Game 1
Very very untrue – sounds like you have something against the Aussies opposed to a genuine take on the line up.
SWOT analysis of the Australian ODI squad against South Africa
The pitches in Adelaide are always doing something Kopu – in my opinion, the Adelaide Oval and the SCG are the two most bowler friendly wickets in Australia. The MCG is the only dead pitch across Australia in my opinion.
SA U19 State Championship squad: Tomorrow's talents
Good article mate, whilst it’s early it’s a good read!
Who will be on the plane to England for the World Cup?
Thank you very much for the feedback mate, much appreciated. I do follow them relatively closely, especially given their level of talent! Definitely a few names to watch in the future amongst this list!
SA U19 State Championship squad: Tomorrow's talents
Nice read, however I think Head will open and Lynn will come in for Short (Number 4).
SWOT analysis of the Australian ODI squad against South Africa
Whilst that is true, I think injury is a lot bigger problem for NCN and Behrendorff than what it was for Rashid. Rashid just wanted to concentrate on white-ball cricket, whereas these two just couldn’t stay fit enough to play it.
Australia's Test bowlers: The second tier
You would definitely hope that the Ashes will bring out his absolute best against us one last time!!
The top ten bowlers in Test cricket today
Agreed, the reason they weren’t included in the article. If they were to play a full Shield season this summer I would definitely say they’d be in contention
Australia's Test bowlers: The second tier
Yes with quite a few of them, their fitness plays a massive role in their spot. Lack of game time doesn’t help a number of them
Australia's Test bowlers: The second tier
When Behrendorff and Pattinson are fit, they’re definitely amongst it. Unfortunately their bodies haven’t allowed them to have an extended run at Shield level of late.
Australia's Test bowlers: The second tier
When he’s firing he’s amazing! Unfortunately injury if the main thing stopping him from making the list; too little Test cricket

Cheers mate, definitely in hindsight would’ve had Broad a lot later, if at all. Abbas. and Rababa are 100% stars of the future, as much as a don’t like Abbas A Test bowling of 16 is outrageous, but I’m sure it will be slightly higher once he plays more Tests.
The top ten bowlers in Test cricket today
You bring up the same point as others, which is perfectly valid. I agree with you and Anderson, Rabada and Abbas too
The top ten bowlers in Test cricket today
Yeah in hindsight I see why people think that. Jason Holder I listed as an honourable mention for the article so he was certainly close
The top ten bowlers in Test cricket today
Yeah agreed – I guess that’s the way the game works unfortunately. Really, really stiff to get that many knocks.
Brisbane defender Frost calls time on AFL career at just 26
Oh wow, I was completely oblivious to the talk of dropping Broad – my apologies. Wagner, Boult and Starc were all honourable mentions so I do understand that. Maybe Bumrah and Kumar should have been too (in my opinion). Will improve such opinions in futute articles 🙂
The top ten bowlers in Test cricket today
Ah yes good pick up and apologies – I did send in the article as ‘could’ and was changed.
Why your club will make the top eight in 2019
A lot of back luck the likely source, but factors such as how hard he attacks the ball and head positioning could have something to do with it too

I really like the look of him (Winter). Whilst he is very raw at Shield level, if he can get another 2-3 solid years under his belt at State level I can’t see why not. I also agree that Pattinson is now in it for the long run, and will likely be picked as an all-rounder if that opportunity arises.
