My suggestion is to have young batters play straight with an orthodox batting technique.It has been years since I saw an Australian batter play a proper drive in the V or flick the ball between Deep square leg and cow corner using their wrists..All I see today are limited batters or unorthodox bashers like Head..Get some to model on Martyn or Junior
