Yer i dont get the constant criticism on this site by the keyboard experts. We are number 1 in the world. We just beat India 3-1. We hold every bilateral trophy and the world cup. We cant do much better. But the criticism is ridiculous

For myself I am not sure how Albert makes the team over Dane Gagai though.
Gagai stared for QLD and played many times for Australia while on his early stint at the Knights.

Cricket is a game of 11 players. Bumrah could take 8 for 50 and the opposition score 400. Cricket is a team game. You would understand that if you watched and followed cricket instead of writing 35 000+ comments over a few years

Good post Rocky Rules. In 40 years of following cricket i have not seen a player given more test matches who doesnt deserve them than Mitch Marsh. He might be a good bloke and grew up in the cricket australia dressing rooms but does he deserve 45 test matches for being a good bloke?
He had 1 good year and has a career average of 29. He is the worst performing australian batsmen over the past 40 years (30+tests)
He still has his admirers for some reason. Like that “know it all, I am always right” bloke from Freo who recently claims he should be opening the batting because his technique is suitable to opening.

Marsh has played 8 tests in 2024 and is averaging 23. He hasnt been in form for a while now. Yes he had a good year last year with the bat. But he is under a lot of pressure especially as the captain doesnt rate his bowling
