All Blacks...I think they're really cool. They are from New Zealand. "Living and dying we feed the fire" What does that mean?!? I keep hearing those words! Now I want to scream those words in a designer suite, wearing my beanie, climbing over a wall entering the Roar office unannounced !! ?

Don’t get me started Olly. You’ve got Elon Musk worth over 200 billion. Bill gates with similar figures. And then in Africa staving kids. If you think the super rich are helping the poor you may want to revalue this. It’s called inequality.

I feel you need a more savvy updated tax system that captures the intended tax from companied like Google and Uber . Uber won’t leave NZ. They pay virtually no tax relative to their NZ earnings.

They need to bring back the 80’a policy where Kiwi’s could go to Bondi beach and pick up the doll and have an awesome holiday!! ….what a great time ?!
It’s not all about the grind. Shades and fades of the man; be free and have da funz !

….. All Blacks aren’t gelling and Sky are reasonably pricing this in amongst other factors. Spark is no longer there but prior to Spark there was no competition. Sky shares are up by 1% for the year. It’s a really difficult climate.

Under Covid the Labour government printed extraordinary amounts of money (quantitative easing) that flowed to the rich. It built up housing assets and those investors borrowed again on cheap funds that gave huge gains on housing. It supported the large companies. It created inequality.
I think it was NZ treasury who informed the government that under a global financial crisis that was severe and affecting NZ, quantitative easing was advised but stated it would cause inequality. I’m sure they would also have said inflationary issues would arise too.
Ardern printed the money but did very little for the vulnerable despite being advised that quantitative easing would cause a divide. Ardern should have addressed this as it has been clearly forecasted. Not so left huh?
The rich got a lot richer and inflation got out of control. Interest rates were too low for too long. Then National came in and a recession was engineered by raising interest rates aggressively. This was done by the reserve bank who are independent from the government. The reserve bank went too hard reducing interest rates (when covid arrived) causing long lasting, high inflation and now the other way, way too slow and then hard raising interest rates.

No the rich didn’t miss out they get the small tax cut from those 14K to 180K range. After 180K there is no cut.
Landlords got a tax cut by over one billion which was burrowed to achieve this.
There is less money flowing because National has applied austerity measures everywhere. 9120 people to date have lost their government jobs in Wellington. This has caused multiple business to close in Wellington.
Money flowing? No. Just owing and rowing against a harsh right wing government.
This year will be better. Wellington is beautiful when it’s humming …but it’s “umming” against a heartless PM.

Inflation is well under control. Contained and sweet. It wasn’t really last year though and the reserve bank engineered a recession by lifting interest rates aggressively. I can’t quite agree with this and think there are better ways to curb inflation i.e tax the super rich and corporate companies and raise the Kiwis saver contributions. This would suck money out of the economy and help inflation whilst creating a soft landing.
Now it’s National austerity methods. Wellington is pretty munted from it (National always fires the government workers who live in Wellington) but it will return.
Outside Covid this is the worst recession since around 1992.
All Blacks aren’t gelling and Sky are reasonably pricing this in.

Soundz cool. I need take a road trip down there! It’s been a while. 👍 😊

RA on tenterhooks over Schmidt's future - all signs point to him leaving before the RWC and one KEY addition

I would return to Aotearoa Joe. You’ve helped them enough. You’ve shown you can still be Zen amongst snakes, and poisonous spiders.
Back home the Kiwis will be chirping at nighttime. Flightless and cute. That’s home.
Razor may not be the flavour, and too much ego always destroys the house, the heart home.
Australia will offer a lot of money, surely huh?
Bring the darkness back to life with Joseph and the many charmed!

Epic picture by the author by the way. Two pictures in one, how do they do it? A picture of a man and an old woman. Wow! Which picture did you see first?

A return to a three-Test series gives the Wallabies the best chance of winning back the Bledisloe Cup

It should be three. Then every second year the Wallabies have a real chance with two home games. Do it! Especially now while you’re on the up!
Currently you lose the first game (ha by not kicking the ball out) and the series is over. That ain’t right.
If you had three this year and at home you would almost be favourites. You have a better coach undoubtedly. It would bring the glory back.

Finally someone on the Roar that can time travel! ???? I knew it was possible! The All Blacks’ on 300K. Let him figure this out, Hoy. It was 1999 when you jumped into that time machine car with a space suit on. Things are a little bit different in 2024. You can’t just walk into a store and buy Plutonium!

'They've sacrificed $1m': Ex-All Black slams Razor's play to bring back Richie ahead of No.10 duo

They were a bit thrashed, not innovated. DMAC found the joy (Ireland) only to be the annoy. Vision not quite. Yet to enter Zen…and we all wonder when…huh?
Innovation at the top is needed. Joseph, Brown, Schmidt were my three. But here we are. Post winter vague glee. So far, Razor hasn’t been up to international standards.

The Wrap: Gilt-edged chance thrown away as Wallabies well beaten, inaccurate All Blacks clock off a week early

What happened to Roar spellcheck?! I knew it didn’t look right. Reminds of the Wallabies midfield under Deans. You could never rely on itz.

The Wrap: Gilt-edged chance thrown away as Wallabies well beaten, inaccurate All Blacks clock off a week early

Roigard’s try was cool. At the ruck bodies everywhere it was hard for him. The ref didn’t help with his first kick with “use it” before the ball was available. It rushed Roigard unnecessarily.
I’m sure Findlay Anti-Christ-ie will be looking at a future RWC appearance again. Tucked away on tour is his little good luck dole. It’s a Cam doll, with a mini Hurricane jersey. Then in go the needles…. 👍 😊 🏉

NZRU needs to evolve. Aweful schedule. Throw the Silver Lake money at retaining players’. Adjust the overseas player rule. Try harder to retain Rennie, Schmidt, Dean, Brown in some capacity.

The Wrap: Gilt-edged chance thrown away as Wallabies well beaten, inaccurate All Blacks clock off a week early

20 card red. How did Ireland get off? Back 5 metres from the ruck. When they applied that rule to the scrum 20 years ago? It opened up more back moves. It would change the game.

Good to know, then definitely he played himself in.

'Put his hand up and owned it': Naughty All Black returns as Cane and Perenara bid arrivederci

Leicester Is dynamite. Foster should never have replaced him after last years Ireland quarter RWC final. Leicester was in for an injury. Special player, special circumstances.

You don’t want to listen to Gates, Kenneth he’s pretty keen on depopulating the world. But Oprah and J Lo! Oh yes ….thats all good!

It’s best to keep it Zen, Ken !

True, reward his recent performance. You have to flow and go with the luck and momentum. DMAC made the switch. Razor had to accept this and run with it ..
As I mentioned BB made vital errors. Psychologically the DG at the end of the first half was damming. France came back..

Have you finally learnt, Old Bugger that Roigard should start! “Ratima should start”” pleeeeae!!!!!
Your ego will say Ratima
Your heart (truth) will say Roigard.
Who are you going to listen to? 😱

The Wrap: Wallabies lay ghosts of Lyon to rest, TMO fools gold leads to absolute madness in All Blacks loss

And Roigard! 😊 👍

The Wrap: Wallabies lay ghosts of Lyon to rest, TMO fools gold leads to absolute madness in All Blacks loss

Astute points. And S Barrett had to go for the try with 5-7 to go. Awful decision. Kick for the corner. In possession, territory, time going down.
But instead it was one point down, five minutes to go, no territory. Our exits aren’t great. France knew they could keep them there. Roigard was probably our best player. I would have kept him on for the full 80. Razor lost this. I would have had BB on the bench. BB’s kicks were costly. The DG attempt, attacking chip kick lead to a French try, the cross kick when defence was already there in place. Then the attack at the end of the game. BB looking like he was contemplating, I was screaming “don’t kick it”, I suspect Ioane was slightly unsure to, and dropped the pass.
