in the 8 and pushing hard for top 4. And like the past 3/4 years, that’ll be as far as they go. And unlike others, I don’t see that as a failing club. Being the next tier down from Storm & Panthers is no disgrace and given the cattle, they are outperforming the chooks. It’s nicer supporting a team that is consistently competitive rather than a regular in the annual spoon discussions. AFB is a nice pick-up though Hunt is a loss. They need forward grunt to take the heat off their halves who will both be under a bit more pressure this year.

Out of the 8 this year and I for one will be happy to see different faces in the finals. IMO if they are a sniff Manu is likely to come back and add strength to try and get them over the line.
Absolutely no respect for Angus Crichton who stayed after being treated like a second class citizen.

I don’t like the dual captain thingie, yet in this case I think it works. Gutho would be my choice as leader, he can be inspirational and emotional – which coming from the back will be a pick-up – yet at FB he’s a long way off the action or near the refs to manage calls or strategies – so that puts Cook in an ideal position to handle that and balance Guthos emotional energy.
I’m confident we’re in the 8 this year.

AJ a waste in the centres unless Des is inventive and has him play a Turbo-in-SOO type role. He’s their best so needs to be close to the action, halves or FB. Kini is really good, but are they better with Campbell at 5/8 and AJ at FB keeping Foran on the field or benching him.
Or do they play one as a hooker and
