The AFL season is over, but it’s not the end of the road for footy fans, with the 2024 trade period continuing into its fourth day. Join The Roar for a live blog and rolling coverage of the day’s news, rumours and action from 9am (AEDT).
After two days of no trades, several deals appear close to completion, while others are dragging out.
James Peatling’s move from GWS to Adelaide has hit a minor snag with further negotiations needed, while Jake Stringer’s trade to the Giants from Essendon is still up in the air.
Meanwhile, other moves, most notably Dan Houston’s attempted trade from Port Adelaide and Bailey Smith’s move to Geelong, are no nearer completion than they were on Monday.
For a full list of the moves, reports and rumours, be sure to check out The Roar’s official AFL Trade Rumours page, updated daily.
