Oh Yeah BUT. Theres been plenty of dud first round picks and he is a ready made man ready to go. I can also tell you hes not a winger type at all! (Listed as a midfielder but with Gibney, Harley, Yeo, Kelly, Lewis, Graham, ect (Allan), he wont spend much time (will a bit) in there. In fact ide put $ on the fact he will NEVER line up to play on a wing period. Time will learn you and you will then see his defensive and forward pressure/carft is elite! Hes a bargain at pick 14.
AFL Pressure Gauge: With a tenacious list taking shape, can the Eagles finally start turning adversity into diamonds?
mmn, not sure ive ever seen Bakes on a wing? But as a pressure HB or pressure Forward he bats way above his size. At times he can run through the Midfield as well. He has continued to defy all odds and anything thrown at him, but still cops heaps from his home state supporters. To top that off he is one of the games best team man, but hey what would I know? Ive only watched him play 128 games and be in the B&F top 6 through most of our modern era premiership years. FTR if I was a WC nuffie (soooo glad im not), Ide be just happy he wanted to get back closer to home and family and you were the choice! Lets face it, not much to hang a hat on for the WC for a long while. And as far as Freo goes, well not too many options or much to choose from anyway. With a couple of flags in the back pocket and his resilience, I doubt he’s feeling any pressure at all! Its just outside noise that most WA demanding supporters bung on. He learnt how to deal with that stuff a long time ago as we all did. I wonder if anyone over yonder looks at for pick 14 you can get a 2 time premiership player that finished in the top 6 B&F out of 7 years and has only played 128 games, smack bang in his prime as a ready made bargain? Maybe try a chil out for a while or at least until he plays the season 😁

I wonder who “leaked the confirmed incident” this time? Tom Morris 😂

Only time will tell results, but having Vlastuin, Broad, Toranto, Hopper, Nank, Presti, Short, Balta and others around 2-4 year mark is plenty to off (plenty of talent). Got heaps for Bolten, Baker & Rioli in quality youth being (Josh, Taj, Jonty, & Luke), let alone our own picks. Dont forget we can hit the trade market in two or three years to take a couple 75 to 100 game players as well. What an exciting time for Richmond supporters ahead!

AFL fixture winners and losers: Cats' latest dream run home, is North's WA deal a disaster waiting to happen?
Couldnt think of anywhere else to be than watching Freo with Don the 13th 😂 Is there a prison down there too 😁

Biggest crowd Freo played in was under 55k playing WC. On average ever other week The Mighty Tiges have about 25% more attend than Freo does! Richmond had the largest crowd of the week 4 times in 2024 (being the bottom team). Freo had 0 (just being Freo). If your going to troll, at least get a single fact correct. 😂 Couldnt even make the finals if it was handed to them!!

You really dont have any idea do you? The Mighty Richmond FCs smaller crowds top Freos big ones 😂. Maybe you should concentrate on the fact being the lack of everything Freo first. Finals? Flags? Anything here?…. Joke!
AFL fixture winners and losers: Cats' latest dream run home, is North's WA deal a disaster waiting to happen?
Wrong again! The Mighty Tiges are the big club! Through the rebuild and such a young side, this big club will lose quite a few games so not so prime time viewing. Wont be long and we’ll be dominating the prime time yet again. The facts are Rich, Coll, Carl, Ess draw big crowds almost every week. They have 80k to 100k members. AKA the Big 4.

Richmond aren’t a big club anymore….? Nup! There a massive club now! 100k members, 3 flags in the last 8 years! Massive crowds!

Haha, classic! First the AFL condemn and throw fines around and now they cash in on it. Should give Ken a pay rise.

NM, St Kilda, & who?
Perth is not a backwater country town and could do with a third AFL side: Could North make a hop and a jump west?
Yeah Na

TBH St Kilda and NM could be chopped into 1 or relocated, either way.
Country Victoria deserves a flipping fair go - Should Melbourne metro lose a team to make it happen?
Yeah I can see that could be an issue, but a nice one to have. Bit hard to compare GWS 10k attend a game to Richmond 80k plus! I think most would take a pay cut to stay and play at Richmond. As for Geelong, I think the GFC is the best in the business at what they do, because it works (well has worked so far). I think this aging crop is coming to its end though and with that so will there current run. Im so suprised they went so well this year, but then again everyone is (even them). The AFL is designed as an even comp so they have def bucked the trend. BTW, theres a few gaps in your 20 years 😂 and they have lost a couple (2020 springs to mind 😛 ). A few prelims too 😁 . You cant deny the Tiges are much better placed going forward. Cant wait 😊

Absolutley! The fact we have that option is awesome.

We’ll actually have a pretty good ballance when we get a few of those types in. Like Jagga too.

Could be, but if a certain player for us is gone and say Nth want someone else we have the luxury to do that swap. Its an awesome possition to be in. Ide give 18 or 20 in return for one of next years top crop (a 9 or 10 or 11) could return. Knowing Nth a 3 or 4 could return 😂

I recon what certian other supporters dont know is how strong our club really is these days. To be that strong you must have decent character and able to make good decisions. What we have done this trade is unheard of, unprecedented, so confuses the nuffie Richmond haters. In real terms, we just fast tracked about 3 to 4 years in 10 days.

Sounds like you expected pick 14 or Bakes to be the “be all end all” and fix up the entire playing list and mess that WC have slumped into, well yes, then you should be doubful. As for what the WCE need? Expect less and appreciate more. Maybe start with some support for the new coach, new players, new era ahead, etc…. BUT nope! That wont happen in a two horse town that WC anti-supporters provide the number 1 cart. TBH, the recent downfall over many many years will do the club good or better for going forward, but boy, its a long road ahead. Pressure on the entire club including the boot studder. Also rem 2018 was not that long ago. Its the long drawn out rebuild that just started a year ago (sort of) that needs to be in the front seat (not unwarrented pressure) 😊
