I’ll bring this up again. In 2022 under Rennie – Australia lost to France on the bell. In that game Jock Campbell scored a try and set up the try of the year handling twice- full length of the field. When Hodge skewed a clearance kick to midfield down DuPont’s neck- and then raced up to cover his mistake only to get stepped. The French then spun the ball wide- Tom Wright missed his tackle leaving Jock to turn and chase Penaud – only to get a great fend by the best winger in the world. Who does everyone on this site blame for the loss- Jock.

'Unstoppable' Damian Penaud breaks Champions Cup record with SIX tries in one game

Hope so!

'Absolutely pumped': 17 Wallabies included in Reds' 34-man squad for pre-season European tour

This is a wonderful thing for these players. The Reds did similar thing in 1980 , when I was working in London at the time- great preparation and experience for some of the players that went on to the 1984 Grand Slam team,

I think the Pacific Rim is our rugby patch.

What a great story! If it wasn’t for this site I think I’d lose all interest in rugby. These snippets are a reminder that rugby is a global game and appears to be getting stronger in other countries. We have always said imagine if the USA ever got their act together – maybe they are.

Forgotten Aussie young gun who would be 'easily the best 10 in the world'

Rode the South Island again last year- somehow missed the the red light into the Homer tunnel. I heard loud voices in the tunnel telling me to turn around- so I did on a very tall Yamaha Tenere700. I had already fallen off 3 times previously- but I’d like to claim to be the only person to U- turn that tunnel. Special blessings please 😊 . Queenstown to Mt Cook in the rain at 6 degrees. Love life and motorcycles.

RA on tenterhooks over Schmidt's future - all signs point to him leaving before the RWC and one KEY addition

Welcome.

Richie Mo'unga to the Wallabies, Fraser McReight to the Boks: The two rivals who would strengthen every Test team

And in more bad news a developer has knocked down the house AC/DC grew up in Sydney.

My mum was 4’11 – from Glasgow- very poor diets back then pre-war. I think introducing milk into diets as they have in say Japan has had a dramatic effect on height and bone density and things like Rickets.

Sorry mate + I meant 150 Morris Dancing teams 😁 I didn’t want to demean men dancin in white costumes wearing bells and hitting each other with sticks.

Boudin Noir in France. The French and Scots have many similar words due to their allegiance against the English. My mother was from Glasgow and breakfast could be Black Pudding or Kippers or porridge.

Technically correct- but don’t ruin my vibe. I’m having a rant.

Apparently there are 150 teams in the USA- it could be the next big thing. The dance is 500 years old and they used to blacken their faces – but that was banned.

I guess the AFL scouts will be hanging out at Castricum Rugby Club now looking for more Fabian’s. The Dutch are the tallest race in the world.

What about the Black Pudding eating competition- they haven’t got rid of that have they?

Good on Glasgow for taking over the Commonwealth Games- birthplace of Jimmy Barnes , Easy Beats and AC/DC. All they did was get rid of some events to allay costs. – that’s all Melbourne had to do. But they just threw in the towel. Can’t wait till Monday to hear what Geoff Parkes has to say if he’s back.

There’s a name Ken Wright. Interestingly I looked up Wiki for Union players who converted to league and his name wasn’t there. That was a time when players were asking for some money to keep playing professionally. He was just starting to hit his straps- then gone.
