I’m just dreaming – it’s not going to happen.
Adelaide United have got what every A-League club wants - home advantage
I b would guess there’s been a coach/player relationship issue.
It would be a waste of his talent. I’d rather see him in another A Leagues squad than be wasted at Sydney. He’s already had a sit out period once before.
Classy imports and super subs: A-League players who were the difference in Round 15
It has been an interesting work life, and after finishing in the A Leagues, he’ll have earned enough to retire on by his late 30s.

A minor? knee concern may be a problem yet.

The young goal keeper for Wellington was the reason they won – he was excellent.
I was wondering who the player of the match would be for Sydney as the BBC were all a bit flat. I guess no one from the defence deserved it.
I am hoping Botic can stay longer in the A Leagues. I think Aloisi’s advice is correct.

Next time I upset my wife, I’ll read your last paragraph to her. I’m sure she will see the error of her ways.

And the possible length of his contract.

Everyone is from Queensland. Next thing you’ll tell me is half the Matildas are from Queensland!

I’m sure you’re right, but it’s still more than Sydney or may end up the same if their next game is away.
A-League tipping: Round 15 - Auckland face two tough tests, Wanderers to rise into top six
That’s obviously a mistake.
The funny faces before the game is quite amusing, but that novelty lasts about 3 games and then wears off.

I’ve written before what they should get, but having regular sell outs creates interest and demand. A regular 15000 sell out with Allianz kept for Victory and Wanderers games would work well.

No ifs and buts – you’re funny

You might be right in terms of a numpty – there may be a place for that song? but definitely not at that time.

Before the Big Blue v Melbourne Victory they had a Bluey show on inside the stadium until just before kick off. It was loud and unwanted by virtually everyone. Having Bluey was nice for little kids, but it should have been set up in the fan zone outside the stadium. It was in the wrong time and wrong place.

Anyway, that’s enough about Adelaide, let’s talk about Sydney.
I heard the Cove booing at the start of the game and didn’t know why. I soon realised they wanted the Phil Collin’s song gone and for them to do their proper introduction. The staff must have responded, but it shouldn’t have happened.
I turned to my wife and immediately said, “They don’t communicate with their fans.”
That plus the Bluey rubbish before the Victory game has been two mistakes.
I understand what you’ve been saying, Waz.

I’ll guess you were a keeper – I think it is the hardest spot in the field.

Interesting article – this comes on top of selling their other CB – Girdwood Reich for over a million dollars at the end of last season. Both are academy players and the beauty is – Sydney is producing a lot of them.
Sydney could do with both players, but this is the way of the future now.

SS – I do like Adelaide!
I promise I won’t mention that they seem to be playing there every week, so no wonder the crowd turns up!
Adelaide United have what every A Leagues club wants and needs – a 15000 seat stadium fit for football. They do also have a lot of good and passionate supporters – some of whom are very one eyed!
I look forward to visiting their stadium this season when they take on Sydney.
I also like how there is always a group of AU supporters at away games and that group usually includes Red Wig, who is always friendly and fair in his analysis of a game.
Football may be the biggest sport in Australia in terms of participation, but it’s not in terms of spectators.
It won’t happen, but every club needs a 15000 seat stadium and every club would need to work on filling it. I’d love to be at a Sydney game with a 15000 capacity only. It would also create demand for being there.
Anyway, this story is about Adelaide. Let’s see if they can get over 60 comments as the Roar did yesterday. And that was a cracker of a game on Saturday night against Victory. This Wednesday night’s game will be a beauty as well – I believe it’s at home again!

Obviously Channel 9 needs Djokovic more than Jones. He has issued an apology to Novak.
It’s a beautiful and heart felt apology that contains the word … if!
Once the word if is used in an apology then you have not apologised. My wife taught me that within our first years of marriage.

An article about the Roar and some other teams and it’s roaring hot. What does this tell us!
Brisbane Roar FINALLY earn first win with massive boilover, Reds pinch top spot from Auckland
That’s funny – I was happy to see CCM win for their club, but I was wanting a WSW win more. I really have enjoyed seeing WSW improve and seeing more fans in the stadium. I hope that continues.

Danielle Collins had the guts to call out the bogan-ism that is ruining the Australian Open
I agree – I don’t think the A Leagues has a big club yet.
To be a big club you need money, a great team, lots of fans, consistent success and success outside of Australia.
A few of our teams have a bit of each of those areas, but not all. A few clubs do have the potential to be big.
If the Wanderers had maintained their fan base and won some local competitions they’d be there.
If Sydney could do well in Asia and grow their fan base some more, they’d be there, etc.

What do we want – Zadkovic.
When do we want him – now!

I’ve got nothing to say Waz, but this makes it 84 – 83 in favour of the Roar over Adelaide!
