I think Elon should be allowed to buy Liverpool, and he should install the Trump family as directors. Then you can watch the club slowly wither and die as those parásites bleed it dry.

Elon Musk 'would like to' buy Liverpool - but owners rebuff billionaire

I’m English (and Aussie). I’ve come to terms with England always underperforming and letting me down. I just laugh about it now. Whoever said all 4 teams in Group C should be sent home was spot on. By far the dullest group of underachievers.

'Sheer buffoonery': English football fans' psyche flawed at the very core - they should be well-versed in failure

Alas poor Glory. Been a basket case since the A League started. Even on the cusp of glory in grand finals, we still shoot ourselves in the foot.

Glory coach quits after insisting he was there for the long haul, signs short-term deal with Wanderers

The last two Glory home games have been crackers. Staj seems to be slowly putting a side together. Be good if we could keep 11 players on the field, few questionable refereeing decisions aside. Overall, the A League is perhaps comparable to mid level European leagues. The fact that all the best young players move on is unfortunate, but understandable.

There are still signs of life in the A-League Men despite the 'bureaucratic nonsense' of the APL

True to an extent. Football is intrinsic to English culture. A solid 150 years of popular history. As an aside, I recall after the scant pickings of football literature on offer here, I wandered into a multi-level bookstore in London. Headed up the lift to the sport section – the football books took up the entire floor.

Is there really such thing as 'The Magic of the Cup' In Australian football?

Lol to the complaints about it being too cold or wet in winter. This is Australia. We barely have a winter. Lost count of the number of games I’ve seen broadcast from Britain and Europe played in 90 minutes of torrential rain, sleet or snow, with the players and fans clearly freezing.

Winter A-League survey: The results are in and not what you may have expected
