$375,000 for Waddingham is too cheap as he has(reportedly ) 1.5 years left on his contract. It will be OK for him providing he doesn’t spend too much time on the bench but to be honest i do not think he is quite ready and I actually believed the RK hype about how valuable Waddo was (stupid me lol).

It is no wonder the senior players have been lost if you listen to post match presser and
the BS that comes out of Zadkovic’s mouth. Excuses like “we don’t have the luxury of an academy like Melbourne to pluck their players from”. well Roar used to have but they got rid of it. They also lost a lot of youth players because they did not value them and we see them pop up at other clubs.

I cannot understand why fans who have paid for season tickets and memberships are not demanding change in the coaching position. Are Brisbane Roar’s fans masochists? £ven the most naive football supporter must be able to see that Ruben Zadkovic is well out of his depth and really doesn’t have a plan A never mind the plan B.

Lionhart you have always been a strong supporter of Brisbane Roar (as have I) so it is good to see your eyes being opened to the inconsistencies and downright lies being promoted by the coach under pressure. Zads is dangerous enough to destroy careers of some promising young (and not so young) players. He must be sacked ASAP because he does not have the support of the senior players and some of these youngsters show promise but without decent guidance could end up on the scrapheap. Two examples are Brazette who is a one trick pony and needs to fit into a team and pass occasionally and Struik being played on the left but afraid to use his left foot (he has to turn on to his right foot to cross the ball lol). As for MacNichol other coaches in the A League would have given him many games and minutes because he has the class and mentality that others in the squad do not possess. By the way that first half was the worst I have ever seen O’Shea play.

Once the “coach” has lost the experienced players in the dressing room he will be removed and in my opinion O’Shea, Berenguer. Brown, Neville and Hingert appear disinterested in Zads coaching by numbers.

Zadkovic has to go and if the two stooges that are in charge will not sack him they should be turfed out too.
It is obvious that the senior players in the squad are not supporting his style of football and the younger players are in most cases carrying the team. Reuben is all talk with no substance and the majority of supporters have shown through their non attendance that they do not believe him either. Quite simply he is out of his depth as shown by Brisbane’s poor results that are a reflection of Perths results under his tutelage.

I have been in football for over 50 years and in my view Zadkovic is a poor illusion of a coach. He talks the talk but doesn’t do the walk. I have hired and sacked a few coaches some with big reputations so I can see when the wool is pulled over my eyes. Roar is ruining good young players and far from Waddingham improving he is going backwards from a lack of in game support.

That is not the Brisbane Roar way despite what you think it is a sad indictment on the whole club.

As a Brisbane supporter since inception I can tell you I am disgusted with the club and in particular the “coach” for embarrassing the club and denigrating the sport.
This is a club that had a never say die attitude that won them a grand final against CCM so to see it sink to the depths that it has done is just another move that will alienate the true football fans they have left.
Those that applaud this type of behavior are the type that drag the game down and we should all be calling out for Zadkovic to be sacked.
Two points from a possible twenty-one is another reason to dump this very poor coach.

Will this be Zadkovic’s last game? If Brisbane lose this it will be one point from a possible twentyone points. When will the axe fall or will it?

There is room for both and the previous government made a huge amount of goodwill from the Women’s World Cup but realistically where is the legacy from that? It waas promised but other sports got more out of it than football has.
Victoria park can have it’s cricket and AFL stadium but Perry Park needs to be improved for football, Ballymore for Women’s rugby and Lang Park for RL, Rugby and concerts. Maybe the old Gabba can be redeveloped for concerts too.

That’s fine for you to say David but you are not a Brisbane Roar fan. The fans who have paid good money for season tickets and memberships deserve better than that served up by Zadkovich. A coach that will organize the team and inspire them and therefore inspire the fans. Zadkovich is not a first team coach and if Patafta and Zac cannot see that then they should depart too.

Not happy at all if Lampard gets the gig and judging by social media over there a lot of the fans will not be happy. They see Lampard (as I do) as a second rate coach that is there by virtue of his name not his ability.
There are better coaches available and it is a head coaches position now not a manager position.
