Or started sleepwalking waiting for it to arrive.
Quiet achiever Carey starting to enter rare air of Australia’s all-time wicketkeeping greats
Pantoprozole for Wisden.

Junior Murray was over 6′. You want Derryk.

Hard to imagine Ray Bright turning a ball past a bat.

Wisden thinks Smith is the world’s best keeper.

It just means Wisden is no longer the journal it once was. The Roar has far more gravitas.

I make the point about Smith to get you to see that his career is in great decline.
You want it to suit an irrelevant stat about careers. Smith’s career numbers are irrelevant. His current form is relevant; it is a very long trail of poor form.
Aussies surely can’t repeat churn and burn McSweeney mistake with Konstas if Head goes to opener
We are talking about people not being selected for the reason they haven’t got experience…any player.
Someone else mentioned Starc, not me. You mention Boland, not me.
I refer to all cricketers. It is a dumb reason to not select someone.
You certainly haven’t “stopped engaging with me”. You troll constantly just so you can argue.
Will Australia have the Galle to play just one fast bowler in Sri Lanka - Starc or Boland for solitary role?
Don’t know why you’re telling me that. I have passed no opinion on Starc vs Boland and certainly nothing about Langer. I think Langer should have finished.
You project so much on to people that they haven’t said, just because you want to argue.
Will Australia have the Galle to play just one fast bowler in Sri Lanka - Starc or Boland for solitary role?
It was the point I made. I have no interest in your gainsaying. Join the conversation.

And Smith? You avoid that one.

That’s not the point I made.
Of course a skipper can do what he wants…including silly stuff.
Will Australia have the Galle to play just one fast bowler in Sri Lanka - Starc or Boland for solitary role?
Patterson? Hodge? Law?
Even Steve Smith does not suit your contention when he was a test-quality player. To get to your 50%, you’d have to count his last 3 or 4 series because that’s where his 3 successes are dwarfed by his 28 failures, skewing his average.

…and, out of all our test players and tours, you could come up with only that.
The logic of your implication, that no one should be picked if they haven’t toured before is staggering.
Of course, it may be that you haven’t thought that through. It is quite likely you are just saying silly stuff like that just for the sake of arguing.
Will Australia have the Galle to play just one fast bowler in Sri Lanka - Starc or Boland for solitary role?
Yes, Rocchiccioli is the obvious choice but performance is not a criterion for national selection.
Will Australia have the Galle to play just one fast bowler in Sri Lanka - Starc or Boland for solitary role?
I hope this doesn’t cost an opportunity to make his Shield debut.
Will Australia have the Galle to play just one fast bowler in Sri Lanka - Starc or Boland for solitary role?
That’s one batsman. Try Adam Voges.
Regardless, in this series, Smith failed 7 out of 9 innings. 6 of the 7 were chronic failures.

Not the point I make. Sounds like you just want to argue.

One country? How did that help him in others series?
Will Australia have the Galle to play just one fast bowler in Sri Lanka - Starc or Boland for solitary role?
It does imply that. You can’t get wickets without bowling.

If he gets a game, he’d get a bowl if the others aren’t doing well.

You seem to be talking about the distant past. What has that to do with current form?
Have a look at the 24/25 Shield season. That’s what we are talking about. Renshaw is struggling to hold his place in the Qld side. Averaging in the 20s. Right again.

The Marsh boys have not had lengthy test careers. Shaun has a lengthy Shield career. Mitch hasn’t even had that.
They were both regularly first out of the test team. Your “bias” there, is imaginary.
Some of you seem to think introducing the Marsh word into a conversation about our poorly performing top order makes some kind of point.

I just said 3 spinners can work. Do you always argue before you read?

Well, no they don’t.
