Absolutely disrespectful. A cringeworthy moment! When are we ever going to learn to show respect towards the culture, song and dance of the traditional owners of this land. We show respect towards the haka, the singing of hymns and prayers, why can’t we extend the same level of respect here?

Purdo thank you so much for your feedback. I like what someone said one day about Pasifika community- you are not migrants you are all cousins to the Australian family. Sports diplomacy in the Pacific region is evidence of this relationship with Australia that goes deeper.
