Living in London where I have no local rugby team now bar Barnes u12 Girls, but my heart resides with Warringah, Wallabies and the Waratahs. Oh, and the NSW and Australian cricket teams

Ah, Paris in late summer. Just the wife and I, kid at home and a pair of tickets to Australia vs Georgia. What speaks…
I’m sure there’s an element of truth in this. Would love a season of 50:50. Wins, teams in semis and finals, to test out the theory a little though
'We switch off': All Blacks great says Super Rugby's future depends on Australia pulling its finger out
Thing was, he didn’t say it to anybody bar his mic. It was puerile childish nanenanenana stuff
Human Rights Commission complaint lodged over Tony Jones' 'insulting and offensive' Djokovic dig as drama escalates
He’s a knob. Stupid, childish joke by an idiot and he makes a massive thing of it. And he’s slagging off legacy media on X. Like it hasn’t been the avenue for untold riches of a horrible bloke who just happens to be good at a game.

The Big Show
0-5 to finals! Maxwell, Webster shine as Stars complete remarkable BBL turnaround, Canes flamed for 'conservation mode'
Hitting a six at better than every six balls is absurd.
I know he hates the nickname but it was perfectly appropriate

Yeah, that’s news to me too
'Too much respect for Joe': Kiss commits to Queensland as Wallabies coaching circus continues
I don’t mind either way. The two big mistakes our selectors have made in the last decade were Uzzie and Maxwell.
Maxie was a generational talent. Give him 20 tests and see if he could work out how to make runs.
Smith under cloud for Sri Lanka as Kuhnemann clings onto hope despite broken thumb
Feels like this tour is an experiment. If smith isn’t 100% he shouldn’t go. Use the opportunity to either blood somebody new or go with Maxie.

Yeah, we have used it as a base to do Wallaby tests in Cardiff and I like it

This player agent gig is a piece of pi55. Don’t need to leave my office. Just spam any likely employer and wait.
But complain when anybody resents my schoolboy approach to the job.
Wallabies on Brown's radar as Eels star casts wide net in search for new mega deal
What possible motivation would RA have in recruiting this high-priced mercenary? Now certainly, but ever?
We need every penny to keep test players coming off contract who are Australians and who play rugby.

Go well young man. Good squad of hookers at the Force.
I always thought Kaitu’u would be a 50 test player but he lacked something. Watched him run around for Racing last weekend and he’s got all the physical attributes but had zero positive impact on the game.
'I'm not going to waltz in': Capped by Eddie with England, meet the 'human mullet' who can make Wallabies history
Yep, you are

I was concerned about TH backup. Happy to hear your view
'Head down, bum up': McKellar distances himself from Wallabies, lays down the law at Tahs
Family weekend. House booked for us and another cousin’s crew.
Relying on freebies from a mate at the Reds so we’ll judge whether it’s just boys at the game when he comes back with his tickets
'Too much respect for Joe': Kiss commits to Queensland as Wallabies coaching circus continues
Have a weekend planned in Bristol at the end of this month, visiting my wife’s cousins and watching the Reds at Ashton Gate. Lovely season starter and primer for SR season.

Sounds good. I’m surprised that players were “coasting through” the last decade. Coleman may not have been a shouter but he wasn’t a big softie.
It’s a good roster, probably really only light at TH and lock. We should be in the mix.

A lot of good stuff here.
Not so keen to read the “95% of American football players don’t make pro and are great athletes” story.
Been hearing that for decades. The 22yo who missed the pro NFL contract hasn’t become even a half decent rugby player.
'Nonu means nothing to them': The USA has been selling rugby the wrong way - this is how the 2031 RWC can succeed
OK. There were 4 games played rhat day. Nobody was standing all day. People sat. If you want to just ignore the extraordinary difference between the two sellout crowds, go right ahead.

I hear you but another 1000 is still a long way short of the crowd at a SS game there a few years ago

That’s disappointing for sure but, given where he sits in the backrow hierarchy established under Schmidt, not surprising. He’d struggle to convince himself he was a chance for a spot against the Lions so the coin looks attractive.
Exeter has been a good club for a number of Oz players over the last decade but they’re really struggling right now. He will be stepping into a team running last in the GP so won’t learn good winning habits.
Exclusive: 'Fly the coop' - World Cup Wallaby signs with English club as RA loses second forward in as many weeks
I read it was a sell-out and there were 6k people there. Which one was it because, as a regular at NS Oval for many years last century, 6k would have been a disappointment for any decent sporting occasion there?
More recently, I know 16k went to the 2017 Shute Shield GF.

The game needs to make a stand. Refs are important. They must be treated with reapect

I believe he stepped up a gear when KB played. Don’t mind if you disagree
'Grateful' Beale signs fresh deal with Force as Wallabies veteran makes late bid to take on Lions
They won a couple of close ones they lost last season. I see little or no difference overall but people want to write that he’s taken huge steps.
This game showed there is something amiss at the club.
Can’t roll over like that. 5 mins of extra effort after half time then straight back to the same lackadaisical effort.
