An astute article – thank you. However, I disagree with any changes. We here in Oz and across the ditch in NZ, raid the PI’s as well. We are part of the problem. Familial links are important and should not be negated due to our poor performance in the board room and on the field in Australia.
Remember, it was the Brumbies and Australia that could not see the value of Mack Hansen. Why should he be prevented from pursuing International Rugby? Same for Aki and Dempsey.
What about Lawyers who work in other countries, should they be banned from moving around?

MAHH, a very astute observation. I hadn’t thought of that (I’m not the sharpest dagger) however, makes complete sense. Everyone knows that NSWRA is a complete basket case, why would Joe put himself, his staff and players on a hiding to nothing if we lose TT, Fraser, our top locks, Valetini etc due to RANSW’s ineptitude?

Awesome, $$$$ saved to pay “over’s” for the next BS Private School, Son of, outside back.
I wish Hooper all the best. Not just a smart financial decision from him, it will also improve his Rugby a lot. I won’t be surprised if he turns out for England in a few years.

I like Schmidt’s approach. I also wish Gleeson all the best in France. Sadly, it appears he might be another Leroy Houston (though not as good a player as Houston was).

Obviously you haven’t tried Coogee “Almond” Milk.
If Schmidt walks as Wallabies coach expect the All Blacks to target their lost man
I agree wholeheartedly. Having watched several NFL Games at the ground in the USA, it is obvious that Rugby to NFL, or vice versa, is a one way street. That street is Rugby without doubt.
'I don't want any regrets': Two-time World Cup Wallaby confirms audacious NFL bid
Very sad to lose him from my beloved REDS. A bona fide talent with a huge future. I wish him all the best for his NFL endeavors. I’d love to see him back in Rugby.

I disagree. That was a big pass to make with two Irish players in the gap. Perhaps we should ask, what would we say if he did pass to his left and was intercepted by the Irish, when he had Williams close to him?
Wallabies ratings: Great white hope's 'panic' moment proves costly, Lolesio's flawless kicking game
I get very anxious when JAS go for a tackle, he is a card waiting to happen. However, that is easily fixed. What he brings elsewhere is excellent though.
Wallabies ratings: Great white hope's 'panic' moment proves costly, Lolesio's flawless kicking game
A good read Christy, thank you. Personally, I’d score Wilson, Kellaway and Valetini (who was immense again) higher. I think the backrow balance is exceptional. Wilson frees up Valetini and it has been showing in his performances, Valetini has usurped Ardie Savea in my opinion.
Lolesio must improve his kicking from hand. Today he was very average, sub international level. Not making touch on numerous occasions gave me flashbacks to our Wallabies worst performances. I’d prefer Carter Gordon at 10 and Marky Mark in place of “Son of” Jorgensen.
All that said, they all definitely score higher than the Referee team, no disrespect to Ireland’s excellent performance.

We need to recruit two more League players. Carter Gordon and Mark Nawaqatanase.
Wallabies left heartbroken as Ireland stage stunning second-half comeback to win in Dublin
Congratulations to Ireland and well played both teams.
As for the Officials, they were abhorrent. It was like the Keystone cops were refereeing.

Christy, you normally produce a good one of these post match. This piece, is a good read and I truly appreciate it, thank you. However, a lot of the marks/ratings are out of whack. Gleeson a 6 with Bell at a 5. Gleeson played almost no minutes. Ikitau a 5 with HP a 6.5? Tizzano a 5 and Gleeson a 6?
They all pretty much seemed incredibly flat. I do wonder if “Suzie” served breakfast for our Wallaby’s?
Wallabies ratings: Schmidt's selections backfire in Scotland loss, big-name backs struggle
Cane, apt for a blind player. Sadly, another player who has been selected on emotion, rather than performance. Sadly, TJ has turned into an NZ Nic White. I wish them both all the best, but they have played on and been selected for too long.

A true joy to watch him play. Lovely read, thank you.
ANALYSIS: The moments which showed why the Wallabies can’t hope to tame the Lions without Will Skelton
I really feel for Samu. He sure has copped the rough end of the stick. I’m not a fan of “whataboutism” so I won’t go there.
He was rubbed out of the 2019 RWC with a Red as the ball carrier, first and only time I’ve seen that sort of interpretation. Now this.
Samu Kerevi's tour over as ban revealed for red card in Wallabies rout
Will was a 9. Perhaps take a look, with an open mind, at his carries. Review his clean outs, where he was timing his arrival for maximum impact. Then take a look at the mauls and how he worked them to enable 3 try’s to Faessler. He was outstanding

Wallabies player ratings: Wright hits the heights, Bell's horror show - and is it time to start Tate?
A nice article Tony, thank you. It is great to be scoring players after a win, as opposed to a loss.
Personally, I believe Bell was higher than a 4, yes – he needs to work on presentation to the ref at scrum time. However, his scrumming wasn’t that bad, not perfect, but ok. His work in carries and rucks was outstanding.
NZ has Ardie, we have RD (Rocks or Diamonds) Wright, he had a very good game however, he dropped a few rocks on his way to the Diamond mine.
Kerevi went well whilst he was on and gave us great go forward, a 6 for me.
Wallabies player ratings: Wright hits the heights, Bell's horror show - and is it time to start Tate?
It was a great game of Rugby from start to finish. Putting down and/or blaming the referee is nonsense. He was very consistent, which is what we want.
'Disappointed': France end All Blacks' winning streak in epic Test, Savea rues bombed chances as ref called out
I give White 5 minutes before he gets the referee offside. Truly hope that I’m incorrect however, survey say’s! As for Ball in the wrong hand Max, I hope he finally has a good game.
'Whirlwind', 'not ideal': Why Suaalii was benched and Schmidt is more nervous about Wales clash than England
Definitely excited that Skelton is starting. Some interesting changes in Jorgensen and White starting. Here is hoping we don’t get our traditional form slump after a win.
'Whirlwind', 'not ideal': Why Suaalii was benched and Schmidt is more nervous about Wales clash than England
I wish him all the best. I really enjoyed watching him play Union when he was able to run freely. Such a shame he was held back by so many injuries. Be nice if he comes back in a couple of years.
