Personally, I’ve always liked the guy and respected him as a coach, as do players generally as far as I can tell. In particular, I totally discount criticism due to his passionate propensities: just nonsense in my book.
I note that he later said he should have gone when Scott Johnson was appointed over him, which sounds like a wise reflection.
Anyway, here’s one fan that would welcome him back.

My guess is that Joe has advised RA of his departure and the announcement will be made in conjunction with naming the next coach. The latter decision would explain the delay. Personally, I hope it’s Cheika.
