That is not what I was referring to. I was referring to RA, not Reds or Brumbies. Please, if you’re going to comment, please read the other person’s comment first that your replying to.
Tahs in turmoil: Hanigan and Harrison jump sinking ship, skipper forced to stay, CEO complains of 'tricky' task
They choose not to use ACT players because they are $hit. Is that the reason?
COMMENT: Bizarre selection call that sums up chaos and disconnect at Super Rugby's biggest basket case
Why don’t the Brumbies use primarily ACT-based players if the ACT is so good at rugby? If, at some stage if rugby is run properly again, one of the first things that should happen is to relocate the Brumbies to a sustainable market outside of Canberra. Canberra is not adding anything to the market commercially as its too small a market, and the Brumbies are not growing the game locally by using mainly ACT-bred players. Rumours are they are insolvent, and rugby can’t continue to prop up such a small market in these frugal times. The relocation of the Brumbies out of Canberra is a major part of the restructuring that needs to happen. At some point, when this current $hitboard at RA is replaced, I’m confident that people with commercial brains will make this happen.

The Brumbies wouldn’t exist without NSW and Qld Rugby players. They are a rugby McDonalds franchise. They could fill their squad with local players and grow the game more locally, but they chose the easy way out and use the NSW nursery.

That is still way more than some SR teams attract. I go to Tahs and Sydney FC games and I can tell you the crowds at A league are much bigger. BTW your 7,000 not right go back and look it up. Please don’t spout BS.

You chirpy because the Force isn’t in last place for the first time in 10 years—just second last. I know it’s hard. Throw as many players as you can at the Force, and they are still cellar dwellers.

Totally agree. He is the only one who can dig us out of this hole.

I just don’t think we can risk any of these junior coaches. Cheika will get us back on our feet and out of this hole. He has the mettle to do it.

Christy, it was a good article and on point. Doorn should do the right thing for the fans and players and resign for the sake of the club. The right thing would be to bring some passion back by immediately sacking Coleman and appointing Cheika as head coach for the remaining games. The players and fans will get behind him.

Bring him back.

I agree just let it go. Waratahs are bankrupt. Fold them them up. F it . Australian rugby doesn’t need them or their supporters. Just have Force , Brumbies and Reds. Im sure the sponsors and TV subscribers will agree.

No I would scrap it because it makes the Wallabies $HIT. If we have to continue to rely on a bunch semi professional players from the Canberra outfit we are going to continue to slide down the rankings. Thats unless we start playing all our tests in $HITberra.

As you dont support them shouldn’t worry you too much. Focus on your own.

Mate . I hear your Brumbies team is insolvent. All being kept hush hush. Your in a glass house and shouldn’t throw too many rocks. You never know. Might be the next team to dissolve.

What?

If your trying to make an argument that Rugby Union is bigger than Soccer in this country you need a reality check. Rugby Union is the worst run and administered sport in this country by some margin.
Tahs in turmoil: Hanigan and Harrison jump sinking ship, skipper forced to stay, CEO complains of 'tricky' task
Well its doing far better than rugby union at the same level. They are expanding the number of clubs and rugby union is getting rid of teams.

Some people dont have a brain. We all have to walk as slow as the bottom 2% of society like this clown to keep the whole moving forward.

As much as you would like that to happen it wont. NSW has half the registered club players and fans of rugby union in this country. Do you think they are going to start supporting Qld or the Brumbies? Without a NSW side it would be very difficult for professional rugby to attract decent sponsors and it would be dropped by 9 and Stan like dead duck. The failure of the Waratahs as much as you take great glee in it is a threat to the survival of professional rugby union in this country.

The A league flourishes with a no Giteau Law Approach and the Socceroos punch above their weight on the world stage using overseas based players. Why can’t rugby? The Giteau Law is making the Wallabies weaker. Players are leaving for better experience and more game time not just the money. SR is garbage and doesn’t prepare players for test rugby.

Doorn is a disaster. He needs to do the right thing by the NSW Rugby community and resign. His position is untenable. Its a complete implosion. Fans , members and players abandoning the ship. You dont win games in Sydney in sport you go broke. He should have sacked Coleman a long time ago and Tahs wouldn’t be in this position financially.

Lets hope Wright has matured as a test player form his last stint. Not sure he can make the jump to test level maturity this time and not screw us over again.
Kells, Wright, Donno, Jock or Kurtley? What Joe Schmidt's past tells us about the Wallaby fullback sweepstakes
Get rid of the Giteau law and lets start winning again then.

Wright is a space cadet at test level. Im sure he will get picked lets see if he has managed to calm down a bit.

Why is it taking so long to put their cards on the table like all the other clubs have? Rumours in the press they are insolvent. Instead of playing politics, they should put their cards on the table so we can see the full extent of the mess of Aus rugby. If they are also bleeding in the red, they need to be taken over by RA.
