If you’re the sort of person who think that’s appropriate behaviour I wouldn’t have hired you in the first place!

Human Rights Commission complaint lodged over Tony Jones' 'insulting and offensive' Djokovic dig as drama escalates

Don’t get me wrong – Jones was being an idiot. And if I were his boss I’d suspend him without pay for a couple of weeks. But Djokovic’s reaction showed him up for being a weak little prima donna.

“Sooner a wealthy American or Middle Eastern takes over, the better.”

That’s no guarantee anything will change of course. In fact, considering the vast amount of money it would take to buy the club it would probably put even more pressure on the finances.

Ange vows to fight for Spurs redemption as another loss piles on pressure, United worst ever?

For anyone at Spurs hierarchy contemplating getting rid of Postecoglou, they need to ask themselves whether any manager could have done any better considering their horrendous injury toll.

I’d be keeping him on long enough to see how he’d go with a ‘normal’ injury list.

Exactly.

Aussies surely can’t repeat churn and burn McSweeney mistake with Konstas if Head goes to opener

He’s the current vice-captain isn’t he? Hypothetical – what would happen if Cummins injured his back and had to sit out the next twelve months? This is a perfect opportunity to give Head some experience in the top job. Smith certainly doesn’t need the experience!

Smith under cloud for Sri Lanka as Kuhnemann clings onto hope despite broken thumb

Exactly. But just how fragile is Djokovic’s ego that he took the slightest bit of notice. He really is a prima donna.

He’s been underperforming for well over a year now and he’s 38. But this goes back to the selectors refusing to drop Warner when they should have. It’s had a cascading effect, which everyone except the selectors saw coming.

Tony Jones is “famous”?!? 😂

Having only just seen what Jones said, I agree it was inappropriate, and probably Ch 9 should give him a holiday for the rest of the forums. But jeez, Djokovic is a precious little snowflake isn’t he? He’s behaving just as badly as Jones is.

I’d want that agreement in writing and signed!

Smith under cloud for Sri Lanka as Kuhnemann clings onto hope despite broken thumb

It actually wouldn’t be the worst thing in the world if Steve Smith didn’t go to Sri Lanka. Allows McSweeney to come back into the team and give Head an opportunity to lead the team. Both of which are a positive from a team renewal perspective.

Is that you Rachel?

That’s what they said about Warner when he started. Turned out alright…

His batting average for the past year is 20. Half what it was. Don’t look at a single game, look at the last year.

If you watched those innings and have any understanding of batting you couldn’t possibly argue Khawaja in back in form.

Khawaja is the problem really. Horribly out of form and holding up the required renewal of the team.

And why on earth is there any talk of selecting Head as opener? Even he doesn’t want the job!

Why on earth would you do that? He’s an opener.

Sensible decision.

Although I suspect Friday’s sold out game won’t be happening judging by the weather forecast…

'Suits the way we play': CA makes divisive Sydney call on BBL finals venue

My very personal preference is to run the BBL from Christmas Day to Australia Day. But I can’t see the BBL shortening it’s season.

That’s what the traditionalists said about 8-ball overs…

“Why would a kid choose to do the hard work to become a Fast bowler, when you are directly disadvantaging yourself as a player?”

8 out of the top 10 wicket-takers in the BBL this season are fast bowlers. Maybe you should rethink your district T20 selection criteria?

I don’t think he’s near Test selection consideration yet. But as I’ve said for a while, if he continues to improve as he has been doing, he may well prove to be up for it in the future.

Apologies – I didn’t mean to imply YOU were blaming them! But I’m sure the BCCI is – Indian society is very patriarchal.

WAGs banned from team hotel, family time slashed and Gambhir’s manager told to get off the bus in bizarre BCCI review

He hasn’t set the world on fire, but I think he’s fine. Te important thing for me is that he’s show steady improvement over the last couple of years. But I’ve said for a while now that he will probably play second fiddle to Cam Green as I see them as similar sorts of players.

But who knows how the future will pan out…

Ah yes. Blame the women. Because of course.

Nothing to do with the fact that the team is past its peak. Much like Australia, India is going to have to significantly renew the Test team over the next couple of years.
