Amy Smith has all the tricks and a dose of King’s confidence
Maisy Gibson has 2-3 types of leggies and a 7/10 googly. Her knees probably limit the amount she can rip it. Pretty good standard 5th best leggie..

It’s interesting to me that we didn’t find longevity in our premiership list
Jack was the oldest but also gone well before. Dusty was done by 32 really. Astbury went young. Castagna went very young. We went off Caddy.
My point being we bled a lot of Premiership experience. For no real return. Grigg and Lambert being too crocked to continue, that sort of thing
Rance.. people forget that, we lost the AA fullback at 29, for no return.
I think these losses are a factor in considering the pace of our fall and the constraints on our rebuild, even before the great clean out of 2024.
The failure or unwillingness to strengthen while we were best, other than Lynch… if we had our time again? Did nobody want to come, was the closed shop the great strength but also then a weakness? It was it the cap, and Dusty and Lynch.

Rioli had 75% uncontested disposals. Had 26 1%ers in 24 games. Won 11 frees all season. Kicked 6 goals
Seriously, with the amount of ball coming in, the lack of other players on the back half and the low expectations of the coach, someone was always going to be the least worst player on the back half.

Lynch earned his money in 2019 which we don’t win without him. And he was very good in the Covid premiership year that was hard on forwards
He then had an absolutely stellar year in 22.
And was looking good in both his last two “ruined by injury” years.
