How many overs is he bowling? Presumably it is not 50 in three days. Do you seriously not know the difference between 10 and 50? It is unreal that struggling with this. It is not derogatory if what I am saying is true.
Spencer for higher honours: Johnson shows he's a Test player of the future after ripping through Pakistan
FMD. I forgot that you are too stupid to grasp simple analogies.
He played in WA’s most recent Marsh Cup game. Therefore, no one with capacity to restrict from playing cricket has a problem with him bowling 10 overs, or something close to it. If he plays in the Sheffield Shield he would ordinarily be expected to bowl 20 overs in a day, and perhaps 50 overs in three or four days. Do you agree with this? If so, do you also agree that 10 overs is a different amount of overs to 50? Or do you think that 10 is the same number as 50?
“No one at CA fits that bill.” LMFAO. I really, really, doubt that there is NO ONE on CA’s payroll that does not have at least years of experience in sports science, physiotherapy, physiology, injury rehabilitation and/or related fields. If not then they are paying consultants that have that experience, and you are stupid and arrogant to think that you know better than them.
Nothing is as desperate, and deranged, as imagining conspiracy theories to explain why CA might prevent a cricketer from playing lots of cricket very soon after they have been injured.

Weirdly, bowling one over in a day is not identical to 25 overs in a day. You are too stupid to understand this. You are also so arrogant that you assume that you know more than the people that have years, and possibly decades, of experience rehabilitating injured athletes.

“No insults coming from me in any post.”
Sure little Donny. Heat, kitchen.

Obviously he has been injured again since then. Your stupidity is getting tedious now.

Heat, kitchen, little Donny.
You insult others but you sook over the mildest insults when they are directed at you.

And these two have been playing cricket all season…just not where they need to play. …with restricted workloads… How can it possibly take a week to grasp this concept? A bowler cannot play in the Shield with a restricted workload because that would shift more work to the other bowlers, increasing the likelihood of more injuries, which is precisely what they are trying to avoid by slowly increasing Morris’ and Richardson’s workloads!
It is political. Seriously, get help for your paranoia. It is not just WA bowlers. Boland has only been allowed to play for Victoria twice this season. Or does the CA conspiracy affect Victoria too?

Lmfao. For the third time, it does not matter what the injury is, the same principles apply.

Yeah, I probably agree.
Head cold: Travis should be at the peak of his powers, but Australia need more from him
It is a general point. I just see no need to pick players before they are ready. It is not like managing a footy team where the list might need to be gradually turned over to avoid the team getting too old, or players leaving to for more opportunity.
Say Harris or Bancroft were scoring more runs than McSweeney or Konstas this year, Harris or Bancroft should then be picked ahead of them. In a year or two Konstas or McSweeney will probably be better and they can be picked then. They are not going to go anywhere. If they do not get better it is preferable that they do that in the Shield rather than the test side.
McSweeney averages 22 when coming in the first 10 overs of an innings. We would be better with Harris opening, even if it just for the short term. He is more ready than McSweeney.
Australia A takeaways: Harris, Bancroft fail auditions, Konstas steadies ship
Yep, I watched Davies bat against Victoria recently. NSW’s top four, which had three players that had played test cricket plus Konstas, was dismantled pretty quickly by a very good attack on a decent wicket for bowling. Davies comes in and looks absolutely rock solid from ball one. I cannot remember him playing a false shot on his way to 30 or 40 and then he got out trying to hit Todd Murphy out of the park. I am not sure if he often gets out playing really aggressive shots but this innings unfolded pretty much exactly what you describe. He can bat though and I can see him playing test cricket.
Sheffield Shield Wrap - Round 4: Harris continues solid form, NSW dominates SA and Jake Weatherald piles on the runs
“5 hours of my life that I’ll never get back”
I do not get why people act like they are forced to watch it.
Stick your T20s and ODIs – India are here to challenge in Test cricket and that is what the game is all about
The Big Bash gets 22k without test players. The Big Bash rarely has test players as the Australian test season runs precisely at the same the Big Bash. Even with full strength squads, the Sheffield Shield and the Marsh Cup would be lucky to get to get 5% of what the Big Bash gets. No amount of “prioritisation” of one day, or first class, cricket by CA will result in crowds at the other domestic competitions being anywhere near that of the Big Bash.

On top of what boo-urns is saying, when guys like Smith, and Labuschagne, who have test averages of 50+, play in the Shield, they do not really dominate. In the 90s, a batsman’s FC average was usually, if not always, higher than their test average. Today the opposite isntrue. If you dropped today’s bowlers in the 90s there probably would not be so many batsmen making runs.
Head cold: Travis should be at the peak of his powers, but Australia need more from him
I thought it was really, really, weird to mention Big Bash crowds given that the Marsh Cup is attended by precisely noone, and the Shield would be lucky to get 5% of the crowds that the Big Bash gets. If Big Bash audiences have decrease to 21k because T20 cricket is a novelty, what does that say about the one day, and first class, cricket?
Stick your T20s and ODIs – India are here to challenge in Test cricket and that is what the game is all about
“Maybe we do experience teething problems” There is absolutely no need to experience teething problems though. Players can be picked when they are ready.

Still quite young but yeah, right now he probably is not good enough for the Shield.
Ex-Test skipper says overlooked openers 'can only blame themselves' as Renshaw finally strikes form
Kellaway will be OK. He got a vitally important 80 in the last match. Chandrasinghe has real issues. He keeps getting bowled.
Harris looked very comfortable in the second innings. I do not think he played a false shot and he motored along at a run a ball.

T20 bashing. Wow.

I think that enforcing a follow-on is stupid unless you are in the position Tasmania were in where having enough time was much more of a concern than having enough runs.
If there was another day of play it would not have made sense to do it.
'Hurt a lot of us': Renshaw opens up on frustration over Test opener snub after Shield century
Is there comradery between openers? I do not get why he should/would be disappointed on Harris’ or Whiteman’s behalf. Renshaw cannot be under the impression that he was a chance to be selected.

“the moment the spotlight is turned on him, he seems to really struggle.”
Are there situations other than the current one that makes you say that? I think I recall seeing that his performances for Australia A and PM’S XI are generally poor. That may support what you are saying.
'Hurt a lot of us': Renshaw opens up on frustration over Test opener snub after Shield century
Yeah, feel really sorry for Bancroft.
It sort of feels like the door has closed on his test aspirations now.
He certainly is not going to be playing in the Border-Gavaskar trophy or the tour of Sri Lanka and he will be 33 by the time the Ashes start.
'Hurt a lot of us': Renshaw opens up on frustration over Test opener snub after Shield century
They lost a day to rain in a four day match. Really no point to batting on the last day when you already lead by 170 and you still need to take 10 wickets.
'Hurt a lot of us': Renshaw opens up on frustration over Test opener snub after Shield century
WA’s fast bowlers bowled ~25 overs in their most recent game, and this is a smallish workload because Victoria’s second innings only lasted 23 overs. They each bowled ~20 in the first innings.
Are you aware that 25 is more than 10-15? For the 17th time, heat, kitchen, little Donny. If you do not respect people I have no qualms about disrespecting you. “If you don’t know, get the information before you try to argue.” I did not need to get the information before arguing because I knew that the number of overs that he would be bowling would be less than what is typical in the Shield, or if it happenednto be similar it would mean that he will be returning in the next round, in which case there would be absolutely no need to be having this discussion in the first place!
What an absolute idoit you are!
