The 2025 Australian Open runs from Sunday, January 12 to Sunday, January 26.
This is the second consecutive year the event has started on a Sunday.
Channel 9 and streaming partner Stan Sport are the rights holders for the tournament, as well as the entire summer of tennis.
Nine will have comprehensive coverage of the big matches each day on their two main channels – Nine and 9Gem. 9Go will also briefly broadcast Open coverage when 9 News airs in major cities.
If you can’t get to a TV, you still have a few options to catch all the action.
Once again, Stan Sport will be showing every match of the Australian Open – men’s singles, women’s singles, doubles and mixed doubles all, with on-demand replays so you don’t have to miss a second of the match you want to watch.

Your other option is Nine’s official streaming platform, 9Now. Every court will be streamed on 9Now, meaning you can catch every ball of every match online. However, replays will not be available.
ABC Grandstand will be broadcasting the Australian Open on radio, which can also be streamed online, as usual. To find your local ABC radio frequency, click here.
